HVAC & REFRIGERATION MOTOR SOLUTIONS

HIGH-EFFICIENCY MOTOR CORE STAMPING FOR COMMERCIAL & EV COMPRESSORS

Engineered for extreme reliability, continuous 24/7 operation, and maximum Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER). We specialize in precision stamping for scroll, rotary, and reciprocating compressor motors used in commercial HVAC, industrial refrigeration, and EV thermal management systems. With our heavy-duty tungsten carbide progressive dies and in-house steam blueing processes, we deliver indestructible stator and rotor cores that thrive in harsh, refrigerant-rich environments.

THE EXTREME LOAD CHALLENGE

MAINTAINING AIRTIGHT PRECISION UNDER SEVERE REFRIGERANT PRESSURES

Compressor motors operate under brutal conditions: high temperatures, intense vibrations, and constant exposure to corrosive refrigerants (like Freon or R410A). Any rotor eccentricity or loose core interlocking can cause mechanical friction, leading to fatal compressor failure. We conquer this by using sub-micron optical-ground stamping dies that ensure absolutely perfect concentricity. Furthermore, our specialized automated interlocking and welding techniques create a rock-solid core stack that withstands intense pressure fluctuations without deforming.

Industrial-grade compressor motor core

Airtight Concentricity Control

Strict bore and OD tolerances are maintained via multi-stage die piloting, ensuring ultra-uniform air gaps crucial for preventing vibration in scroll and rotary compressors.

High-Pressure Auto-Interlocking

Stator and rotor laminations are rigidly interlocked inside the progressive die to withstand severe starting torque and continuous high-pressure refrigerant impacts.

Refrigerant-Resistant Blueing

In-house steam oxidation forms a dense, dark-blue Fe3O4 protective layer on the motor core, providing exceptional resistance against rust and corrosive refrigerant gases.

EV Thermal Management Cores

We stamp ultra-efficient, compact cores using 0.35mm silicon steel, specifically optimized for high-voltage battery cooling and heat pump compressors in electric vehicles.

COMPRESSOR-GRADE MATERIALS

OPTIMIZED SILICON STEEL FOR MAXIMUM EER RATIOS

Energy consumption is the critical metric for commercial HVAC systems. We carefully select premium CRNGO steel from top mills to minimize hysteresis and eddy current losses. Whether it’s robust 0.50mm material for industrial refrigeration or low-loss 0.35mm for EV scroll compressors, we guarantee the magnetic flux you need.

Precision Slot Geometry

Burr-free slots (<0.01mm) designed for high-density copper winding, boosting the overall Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER).

Thermal & Chemical Resilience

Cores processed to endure constant extreme temperature cycling and exposure to modern HVAC refrigerants.

Heavy-Duty Tooling

Our progressive dies use ultra-tough Sandvik carbide, ensuring 3+ million strokes between regrinds even on thicker steels.

EXPERT ANSWERS ON COMPRESSOR MOTOR CORES

Have technical questions about steam blueing, scroll compressor core designs, or maintaining high EER ratings? Review our FAQs below or contact our engineers to discuss your HVAC project.

Compressor motors are hermetically sealed inside the unit and constantly exposed to refrigerants (Freon, R410A) and lubricating oils. Steam blueing creates a dense Fe3O4 oxide layer on the steel surface. This not only prevents rust but also significantly improves inter-lamination resistance, thereby lowering eddy current losses.

Rotary compressors often require standard concentric cores, while Scroll compressors (especially for EV thermal management) require extremely compact designs and ultra-precise air gaps to maintain high volumetric efficiency. We use 0.35mm high-efficiency silicon steel and sub-micron carbide tooling specifically tailored for EV scroll applications.

EER drops when magnetic flux is disrupted by burrs or excessive mechanical stress. Our optical-ground carbide punches ensure a razor-clean cut with <0.01mm burr. Additionally, our automated in-die interlocking process minimizes stress on the steel, retaining its optimal magnetic permeability.

Yes. For large commercial chillers and heavy industrial compressors, we utilize large-format Single-Hit Compound Dies on our high-tonnage presses. This ensures that even massive stator laminations maintain 100% flatness and perfect concentricity in a single stroke.
