THE EFFICIENCY MANDATE

MEETING GLOBAL IE4 & IE5 EFFICIENCY STANDARDS WITH PRECISION STAMPING

Industrial motors consume the majority of global electrical power. With governments enforcing strict IE4 and IE5 efficiency regulations, manufacturers must drastically reduce hysteresis and eddy current losses. Inferior stamping causes edge stress and burrs that degrade magnetic flux. By utilizing sub-micron optical-ground tooling, we guarantee razor-clean edges and perfect concentricity. This minimizes airgap variations and optimizes electromagnetic performance, helping your standard industrial motors achieve super-premium efficiency effortlessly.

ROBUST MANUFACTURING

ADVANCED STAMPING CAPABILITIES FOR HEAVY-DUTY MOTORS

Industrial environments demand indestructible reliability. Explore how our heavy-duty stamping and core consolidation technologies ensure your motors survive decades of continuous operation.
Heavy stamping and core reinforcement technology

Large-Diameter Stamping

Our high-tonnage press lines and large-format progressive dies easily handle the massive outer diameters (OD) typical in heavy industrial pump and blower motors.

Robust Core Consolidation

To withstand severe industrial vibrations, we offer high-strength in-die interlocking, supplemented by automated argon arc welding and riveting for indestructible core rigidity.

Automated Rotor Skewing

In-die automated skewing significantly reduces electromagnetic harmonics and cogging torque, ensuring smoother start-ups and quieter operation for large AC induction motors.

Thermal Stress Relief

Large-scale continuous rotary annealing restores the optimal magnetic permeability of the electrical steel after stamping, which is critical for maximizing IE4/IE5 motor efficiency.

INDUSTRIAL-GRADE MATERIALS

HEAVY-GAUGE ELECTRICAL STEEL FOR DURABILITY AND COST-EFFICIENCY

Balancing performance with raw material costs is the key to scaling industrial motor production. We source high-grade 0.50mm and 0.65mm Cold Rolled Non-Oriented (CRNGO) silicon steel directly from Baosteel and WISCO. These materials offer the perfect balance of excellent magnetic flux density and immense mechanical strength required for industrial machinery.

Broad Size Capabilities

Stamping stator ODs ranging from standard NEMA frame sizes up to 500mm+ for heavy industrial applications.

Premium 0.50mm/0.65mm Steel

Certified Baosteel CRNGO providing superior structural stability and optimal core loss ratings for standard AC motors.

Extended Die Lifespan

Our ultra-tough carbide inserts guarantee millions of strokes, ensuring zero supply chain interruptions for high-volume OEM orders.

EXPERT ANSWERS ON INDUSTRIAL MOTOR CORES

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT EV MOTOR CORES

Have technical questions about upgrading to IE5 efficiency, handling large stator dimensions, or heavy-duty core welding? Review our FAQs below or contact our industrial engineers to discuss your project.

Achieving IE4/IE5 requires minimizing airgap variations and core losses. We assist by optical-grinding our die punches to sub-micron tolerances, ensuring <0.01mm burr and mathematically perfect stator/rotor concentricity. This maximizes magnetic flux efficiency without forcing you to buy drastically more expensive electrical steel.

For standard industrial induction motors (like pumps and fans) operating at 50/60Hz, 0.50mm CRNGO is the global industry standard. It offers the best balance between stamping productivity, material cost, and acceptable core loss.

For heavy-duty applications, standard interlocking is often not enough. We provide automated secondary operations, including TIG welding, laser welding, and riveting across the outer diameter of the stator stack. This transforms the laminations into a single, indestructible solid block.

Absolutely. For industrial stators with very large outer diameters (e.g., >300mm), progressive dies can waste too much material. We design high-precision single-hit compound dies that stamp the inner and outer diameters simultaneously, ensuring 100% concentricity while drastically reducing your material scrap rate.
