1. The Challenge: Supply Chain Gaps & Cost Pressures

A growing motor assembly manufacturer in Vietnam was looking to scale their production capacity. However, they faced a significant supply chain bottleneck: there was a severe lack of local, high-precision contract manufacturers (OEMs) capable of producing high-quality motor core laminations.

Building an in-house stamping facility was out of the question due to the massive capital expenditure (Capex) required for high-speed presses and custom tungsten carbide dies.   2. Premium Material Selection: To balance cost-efficiency with electromagnetic performance, we sourced high-grade 0.50mm Cold Rolled Non-Oriented (CRNGO) silicon steel directly from top-tier mills (Baosteel/WISCO).
  3. Automated Mass Stamping: The laminations were stamped on our 500+ SPM high-speed automated lines. We utilized in-die auto-interlocking technology, meaning the stator and rotor cores came out of the press perfectly stacked, rigidly secured, and ready for winding.

3. Quality Control & Overseas Logistics

Cost-effective does not mean low quality. During the mass production run, our QA team enforced strict In-Process Quality Control (IPQC).

  • We utilized Zeiss CMMs and 2D optical projectors to verify that the concentricity and slot geometry of the laminations were mathematically perfect.
  • Burr heights were strictly monitored and kept under 0.01mm.

Knowing the humid conditions of ocean freight from China to Vietnam, our packaging team implemented robust anti-corrosion protocols. The finished motor core stacks were coated with premium VCI anti-rust oil, vacuum-sealed in moisture-barrier bags, and securely packed in fumigated wooden pallets to prevent any transit damage.
